I am Ashley Armstrong, I am 15 Years old and I live in Auckland, New Zealand.

 

I have previously been selected into both the Piko Piko and Koru NZ Development Squads but unfortunately we were unable to complete overseas due to Covid.

 

This will be my first year of competing in the Aqua Ferns (New Zealand Artistic Swimming Team) and I am really excited for this amazing opportunity to compete at the 2023 World Championships in Japan this July. I

 

am still at high school and one of the challenges this year is going to be balancing my school work and training full time with the Aqua Ferns. Going to a World Championships and qualifying for the Olympics has been my main goal from the day I started Artistic Swimming, so I am thrilled to have made it this far.
