Carter Swift is a swimmer from New Zealand who has made a name for himself throughout his endeavours swimming around the world. Swift was born in New Zealand, and moved to Australia during his youth. It was there that he discovered his passion for swimming at a young age.

After completing his high school education, Swift decided to pursue his academic and athletic aspirations in the United States, where he enrolled at Arizona State University (ASU) to study Clinical Exercise Science. While at ASU, Swift joined the university's highly competitive swim team and began training under the guidance of esteemed coaches Herbie Behm and Bob Bowman.

Swift quickly made a name for himself as a sprint freestyle specialist, setting multiple ASU and New Zealand records and earning numerous accolades along the way. He continued to compete at the highest levels, representing New Zealand in international competitions such as the Oceania Games in 2019 and the World Championships in Budapest in 2021. Most recently making the World Short Course Championship Finals in the 4x50 Mixed Freestyle Relay.

In addition to his athletic pursuits, Swift also excelled in his academic studies, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Science from ASU. Building on this foundation, he went on to complete a Master's degree in Sports Law and Business, furthering his understanding of the business side of sports and the legal issues surrounding it.

As Swift looks towards the future, he remains committed to his athletic and academic pursuits, striving to improve his swimming skills and further his knowledge of the sports industry.
