Michael Pickett, born on August 17, 2002, is a sprint specialist swimmer from New Zealand. Michael has been passionate about swimming from a very young age and has worked hard to achieve his goals.
Michael, currently representing Somerset under the guidance of world renowned swimmer/coach Ash Callus, has competed at a variety of International Competitions including Short Course World Championships, World Aquatic Championships, Youth Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympic Games, and many more.
Despite his young age, Michael has already achieved a lot in his swimming career and is widely regarded as a rising star in the sport. He has demonstrated a great deal of promise and potential, and his performances have impressed many experts and fans alike. He recently further cemented himself as the fastest kiwi ever, breaking the 50m Freestyle national record in 22.11 seconds.
As Michael continues to train and compete, He is determined to achieve even greater success in the years to come and has set his sights on representing New Zealand at the highest level of international competition.
